Campaign approach

"Get There From Here" speaks directly to the heart of Rasmussen University’s mission. Regardless of a student’s current circumstances or goals, the university provides an accessible pathway to make it happen. The phrase operates on multiple levels. Literally, it acknowledges that students may come from different life situations, whether they are balancing work, family, or other responsibilities. Aspirationally, it positions Rasmussen University as the bridge connecting their present life to their desired future, whether that’s a new career, degree completion, or professional advancement.

Mapping student journeys

We developed a dynamic collage-style design system to represent the diverse student experience visually. This layered approach combined photography of students with graphic elements that mapped to various degree paths and career outcomes. By blending portraits with subtle path motifs, we created a visual metaphor for the university’s role in connecting students’ current realities with their future aspirations. The organic, slightly overlapping composition reflected the non-linear nature of modern education while maintaining enough structure to clearly communicate different program offerings. This approach allowed us to showcase Rasmussen’s inclusive community and varied academic pathways in a single cohesive design system that worked across brochures, digital ads, and campus displays. The result was marketing material that felt aspirational and authentic, mirroring the tagline by literally showing the many routes students could take to achieve their goals.
